Pricing, payment, processing and more!

  • EFC offers fixed prices for virtual tax preparation services for businesses. Individual pricing varying based on filing status and required forms. Each client completes a contract and tax questionnaire for the year, gaining access to a client portal for convenient document uploads. Please note that EFC does not perform audit protection or negotiate with the IRS or Tax Resolutions.

  • There is a Tax Appointment Checklist listed on the Resources page located in the Tax Center, that is used as a guide for the documents needed.

  • Payment Period Due Date

    January 1 – March 31 April 15

    April 1 – May 31 June 15

    June 1 – August 31 September 15

    September 1 – December 31

    January 15* of the following year.

  • A business expense is the cost of carrying on a trade or business. These expenses are usually deductible if the business operates to make a profit.

    10 Common Tax Deductible Expenses

    1. Start-Up costs up to $5,000 on your first year’s return.

    2. Taxes, interest, fees & charitable contributions

    3. Wages & payroll taxes. You can pay yourself a wage or salary.

    4. Retirement plan contributions

    5. Home Office, insurance, utilities, taxes, repairs & maintenance can all be deducted.

    6. Health insurance

    7. Education & Training

    8. Marketing expenses like advertising, website development, and print materials.

    9. Travel & Entertainment - Recently in 2018, the tax law changed and businesses can no longer claim some of the entertainment expenses they once had. However, there are still several client and employee travel and entertainment expenses that are deductible.

    10. Bad Debt

  • If a client owes, a 35% non-refundable deposit is required to initiate services. Taxes are filed only upon receipt of adequate documentation and full payment. Payment plans are available upon request. For the preparation of multiple years of taxes, a 35% deposit is required, with back taxes priced at our standard rate for each applicable year.
